Forget Resolutions. What Are Your Priorities for 2026?
Seriously, I want to know. I'm guessing you do too!

Facebook // Instagram // YouTube // TiktokIt’s that time of year again.
The time of year where we all feel especially optimistic about our ambitions for the coming year. When we’re all riding high on our new year’s motivation—at least few a little while.
Have you given it any thought?
I suspect that most have, but I’d like to ask a different question:
What are your priorities for the year?
You might say this is just semantics but I disagree. In my humble opinion, there’s a big difference between a resolution and a priority. Resolutions, tend to be things that are “nice to have.” Things we say we’ll do because it feels right.
Priorities, on the hand, are “must haves.” Things we know we need to get done regardless of our feelings. There’s a different mindset behind a priority, one that is more likely to get us out of bed, or off the couch, even when our well-intended motivation falls short.
We can, and likely will, make excuses about the resolutions we don’t keep, but there is something weightier about a priority. Something we can’t avoid or dismiss. These are the actions that integrity is built off of.
Give it some serious thought.
How will your life be different at the end of this year?
What things are you holding yourself accountable to execute on, no matter what?
Pretend your reputation rested on it. What will you be ready to give a favorable progress report on in meetings or at dinner parties?
There are eight (8) dimensions to choose from, and as you reflect on them, you’ll realize that pretty much all that we hold dear falls under one of these categories. Here they are, in no particular order:
physical
emotional
spiritual
mental
professional
social
environmental
financial
Even though we are ALL looking for improvement in multiple areas, I believe it is important to focus on one specific area to start. This will allow us time to build up momentum, and establish key routines before expanding into other areas.

My main wellness priority for 2026? MENTAL wellness.
If you follow on me on socials [wait—you don’t?], you know that I’ve been pretty open about my expectations for this year:
Publish two books
Produce a wide range of digital resources (ebooks, courses, etc.)
Add more coaching clients
Bonus: Do some in-person events!
Each of these goals will require me to be more locked in mentally than I was last year, to think more clearly, act more decisively, and work with more intention.
Here’s how we can help each other
Time is of the essence, and so I want to work smart, and not just hard. In order to do that, I need actionable data on the needs of the community so that I can focus on creating the right digital resources—and the only way to get that data is to ask.
So here’s the ask—a completely anonymous survey with only two question:
What’s your wellness priority?
What’s your preferred learning method?
» Complete the survey
Thank you in advance to those who will take the 60 seconds to complete the survey. My guess is that just by answering the question, you doubled-down on your commitment. That’s already a win!
Btw, for those focused on Physical wellness, I’ve already started creating some digital resources. >> Check them out here!
