“Now concerning brotherly love, you have no need for anyone to write to you. For you yourselves have been taught by God to love one another.”
This blunt scripture challenges saints who claim that Christ’s standard of love doesn’t apply to them, or worse—that they don’t even know what it is.
God is love. His Word is love. We are to minister in love, and fellowship in love. Many saints can only show love when they “feel” it, but Christ calls for us to DO it, even when it doesn’t feel great
